About this role:
Our client is seeking Strategy Lead - India & Philippines.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive long-term strategy formulation for our client in India & Philippines (I&P); ensure alignment to larger global organizational vision and agenda
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the organization’s current operating model, business strategy and nuances/differentiators and provide a competitive edge
- Leverage market and industry intelligence, best-in-class external best practices to connect it with key internal learnings to develop and drive strategy for I&P along with its integration into enterprise-wide interventions and current and planned business priorities
- Lead execution of horizontal strategy and policies in alignment with regional and global stakeholders across businesses and functions across payments, data, etc.
- Execute change initiatives related to strategy and innovation within the office in addition to supporting Global projects and initiatives
- Implement the company’s digital strategy tailored to the I&P organization’s goals and objectives
- Lead the deployment of HR strategy considering organizational design, capability maturity, employee experience and working culture through initiatives such as Loudspeaker program, Communities of Practice, etc. to impact employee retention
- Cultivate and foster partnerships with various stakeholders (function heads/ lines of business) to drive strategic initiatives & strengthen business values
- Work with all departments to develop integrated solutions, and stable and sustainable processes and growth structures
Key Requirements: Experience and Skills
- 15 - 20 years of experience in business strategy and advisory aligned to the financial services industry with large, complex organizations
- Experience in strategy, transformation, process improvement, and organization set-ups; Exposure to data, analytics, and digital is an added advantage
- Proven track record in developing and executing strategy that impacts the enterprise across businesses, functions and geographies
- Expert knowledge of all functional departments, capabilities and service areas, as well as operations requirements for India & Philippines markets and industries
- Strong strategic mindset and agility, integrates and translates potential into reality with strong analytical skills, and problem-solving skills
- Well-organized, high-energy levels, must work well in a team environment with various stakeholders in the organization
In addition, must have the:
- Ability to influence and manage the expectations of senior executives and others, across diverse geographies
- Great project-management abilities, collaborative approach, strong analytical skills, business acumen and problem-solving skills
- Ability to assess and manage risks, anticipate future challenges
