Key Responsibilities:

• Lead long-term strategic planning and manage the preparation of quarterly and annual operating plans, budgets, and forecasts.
• Oversee Management Information Systems (MIS) and financial reporting, ensuring accurate tracking of financial performance.
• Establish and optimize processes and controls, focusing on operational and financial metrics analysis.
• Act as a strategic partner to the business teams, providing financial insights and recommendations.
• Evaluate commercial proposals, assess category margins, and negotiate effectively to support business objectives.
• Collaborate with business teams to set targets, conduct gap analyses, and implement improvement plans.
• Work with operations managers to identify cost-saving opportunities, optimize operational efficiency, and implement sustainable cost controls.
• Lead financial review meetings, collaborating with business managers to ensure effective finance and cost management.
• Provide actionable insights through data analysis to help business leaders improve financial and operational metrics.
• Manage financial reporting, ad-hoc business analysis, and financial modeling to support business decision-making.
• Drive financial planning and analysis, utilizing key business levers to optimize performance.
• Automate reporting processes and leverage business intelligence tools to enhance operational efficiency.
• Take ownership of working capital management, including inventory control and maximizing return per square foot to drive top-line growth.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• 4-7 years of experience post-qualification.
• A Master’s in Business, Finance, Strategy, or a Chartered Accountant qualification is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in SQL is preferred.
• Ability to take initiative, manage deliverables independently, and develop innovative solutions to business challenges.
• A continuous improvement mindset and a quick learner.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
