Job Description

Job Responsibilities 

  • Utilize various lead generation techniques such as cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and attending industry events 
  • Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships and services 
  • Manage and execute the entire sales process from initial contact to closing the deal 
  • Deliver compelling presentations and proposals that highlight the company's products/services and their benefits 
  • Prepare and deliver sales reports, pipeline updates, and forecasts to senior management/Leadership 
  • Proactively identify business development opportunities for your existing client engagements 
  • Partner with customer success teams to ensure a smooth transition and onboarding of new clients 
  • Set and achieve ambitious sales targets and KPIs, including new client acquisition, revenue growth, and market penetration 
  • Develop and implement strategies for retaining and growing client relationships to ensure long-term business success 
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company's products/services and their unique selling points 
  • Continuously refine and improve the business development strategy to ensure alignment with company goals 

 

Required Educational Qualifications 

  • Master’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field 
  • Overall, 14+ years of which 5 – 8 years of proven experience in the sales of data/data engineering projects to clients across diverse industries. 
  • Good experience in cloud technology (specifically Azure), data engineering and other software technologies. 
  • Knowledge of data bricks, Data Modeling, Databases, software development lifecycle and other tech practices is preferable. 
  • Experience working with Technology/ Pharma/ Retail client is an added advantage 
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques 
  • Established a network of contacts and potential clients 
  • Familiarity with lead generation tools 
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time
