The Business Systems Consultant (BSC) consults with management and business partners on matters of significance regarding strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for the large business functions or functions that may cross the enterprise that have significant complexity, scope and financial impact. Such consultation includes discussion of alternatives and implications. The BSC supports the team on business performance and collaborates on recommending strategies to implement changes and improvements. In addition, the BSC utilizes thorough knowledge of the LOB's or enterprise to support and drive strategic initiatives for the business. The BSC establishes priorities and drives accountability for assigned initiatives, ensuring solutions are designed, integrated and controlled to improve effectiveness, limit risk exposure and create efficiencies as appropriate. Functions supported may include policy/procedure administration and adherence, systems/change initiatives, business continuity planning, legal and regulatory adherence, SLA negotiation/development, reporting and analysis, project funding, pipeline, process improvement, quality management (example: may include negotiation of SLA and QA program across multiple LOBs), communications. The BSC may work with key internal and/or external partners, possibly in experience designing and managing large complex global programs, new processes, programs and services.

As the BSC for our International Benefits applications, the BSC will possess expertise in the complex, technical and unique product/service of International Benefits , and for depth of understanding of potential synergies and opportunities enterprise-wide.  The BSC supports in deployment of the vision and roadmap for the function across the enterprise.   This person consults with regional teams on the implications of various policies and activities. Responsible for deployment of overall product management and strategic focus for International Benefits, this person effectively works with the product team on new products and enhancements including innovation, product positioning, and profitability.  The BSC supports integration of efforts of product management with other organizational units and external vendors in development, implementation and maintenance of systems while ensuring programs adhere to compliance, regulatory and privacy regulations and policies.

·         10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning

Desired Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s Degree

·         Experience leading team of consultants, analyst and specialist focused on products and services.

·         Experience designing and managing large complex global programs, new processes, programs and services.

·         Experience in Benefits/Global Payroll/Human Resources/Global Human Resources areas

·         Experience working in both waterfall and agile project methodologies.
