In this role, you will:

• Manage and develop a Commercial Loan Credit risk Management team of approximately 14 individual contributors that are managing the risk to the bank and handling the workout of complex commercial loans.   
• Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners and peers associated with the Loan Credit risk Management functional area or who are affected by its outcomes
• Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development through business data
• Develop, plan, negotiate, and implement strategic and management reporting initiatives
• Determine appropriate strategy and actions of Loan Credit Risk Management functional team to meet moderate to high-risk deliverables
• Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
• Lead team to achieve objectives
• Manage allocation of people for Loan Credit Risk Management group
• Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
• Manage middle office support staff assigned to Workout portfolios

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of Loan Workout/Credit Risk Management/Commercial Lending experience, or equivalent
• 3+ years of Management experience
• 15+ years of Overall Credit experience

Desired Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with commercial lending and relationship management
• Workout experience with relationships of moderate complexity and size, including knowledge of restructure techniques, documentation, servicing, and loss mitigation, including workout and default management legal concepts.
• Project management, process design and implementation experience
• Experience and success with compliance, ops risk, and establishing effective internal controls
• Proven leadership qualities including strong communication, negotiation, influencing, coaching, and collaboration skills
• Credit risk analysis skills

Location:

• The position will require to be located in Bangalore/Hyderabad in India, preferably located with the existing Credit teams.
