About the Role:
Selected candidate will work as manager of Retail Business Insights and Reporting team and would be overseeing a small team of 4 team members to begin with and grow the team in future. The incumbent is expected to be a technical expert in data analytics, insights and reporting and lead the team with technical and thought leadership, guidance and value addition to the projects and play a pivotal role between India and US team. Candidate is expected to have good command over various tools and technologies such as SAS, SQL, Excel-VBA, BI tools, and MS PowerPoint. Sound knowledge of statistics, banking & consumer lending with specific understanding of home lending product and its lifecycle is preferred. 

Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze and model HR metrics, key performance indicators using a broad set of analytical tools and techniques to deliver quantitative and qualitative business insights and improve decision making.
  • Design, develop & maintain HR Dashboards & reports
  • Manage the creation and deployment of ad-hoc reporting requests from HR and business leadership
  • Identify suitable analysis techniques to deliver insights
  • Handle small and large datasets efficiently and figure out the right technology to use for processing, analyzing & presenting the data
  • Ensure extremely high level of control environment in managing sensitive HR data and reporting
  • Ensuring delivery of reports & analytics according to the defined schedule
  • Serve as the HCM systems subject matter expert for HR analytics & reporting to stakeholders
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to understand their data, reporting requirements, understand data structures and their availability and reporting limitations

Essential Qualification:

  • 15+ years of experience with minimum Masters in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics or business/social sciences from premier academic institutions
  • 6 years of experience in HR Data Analytics, Reporting & Data Visualization using various technological platforms in BFSI industry
  • Strong understanding of data architecture and business process of various parts of Human Capital Management (HCM) system (like Payroll, Benefits, Recruitment, Time, Absence & Performance Management, etc.) and HR Helpdesk/Call Centre from HR Data Analytics & Reporting perspective
  • Good experience in querying/extracting, analyzing and presenting the data in the required format using available tools
  • Strong experience in developing common HR reports like Headcount, Joiners, Attrition, Leavers, etc. using SQL & MS Excel
  • Good knowledge of Statistics, Operations Research & Machine Learning concepts and their application to HR Data Analytics
  • Good knowledge of Predictive Modelling & HR Simulation Techniques
  • Working knowledge of multiple countries HR Terminology
     
  • Experience in dealing with sensitive HR data
  • Ability to translate business problems into mathematical formulations

Desired Qualification:

  • Experience of HR Shared Services, Hub & Spoke delivery model
  • Training and mentoring other team members on HR Analytics & HR Domain knowledge
  • Expertise in several of following areas: Workday HR Reporting Tools, Tableau, MS Access, Python, R, Peoplesoft HR Reporting Tools
  • Ability to work independently on complex HR analytics requirements from start to finish
  • Eagerness to contribute collaboratively on projects and discussions
  • Attention to detail in both analytics and documentation
  • Intellectually curious, who enjoy solving problems

 

Salary 60-65L Fixed + Variables
